Puerto Portals 52 Super Series Sailing Week

As a drone pilot, I was part of the Chimbovision GmbH and Co KG TV team during the third event of the 52 Super Series off the coast of Palma. During the regatta, my task was to support the daily highlight production with my drone. The winners of the event were Hasso and Tina Plattners TP52 “Phoenix”, who also took over the overall lead of the 52 Super Series. Quantum Racing narrowly missed the podium, while the Turkish team “Provezza” reached third place. Harm Müller-Spreers “Platoon” from Hamburg finished the event in sixth place.

As an experienced drone pilot, I was able to bring my knowledge and expertise to the TV team and contribute to the successful production. The next stop of the 52 Super Series will take place in Scarlino, Italy at the end of September before heading to the final in Barcelona. It was an exciting experience to be part of this sailing event and I look forward to being able to participate as a drone pilot in such events in the future.
